The dance year runs from September-June with a year-end recital in June.
Mid-year registration is permitted on a case-by-case basis.

TUITION AND FEES POLICIES

TUITION POLICIES


Tuition for students at Noopur Nritya Academy is a monthly fee, which is paid by the 5th of each month. We do NOT base our tuition on time, or hourly, but on value and results. All of our classes are unique and one- of a kind. We have expert instruction at each, and every level.

1. Tuition must be paid in full for each month that classes are scheduled. If the instructor misses any classes, those sessions will be rescheduled, or tuition will be prorated accordingly.

2. Tuition is paid through the following modes


 Safe and secure online auto debit, credit
 Venmo
 Zelle

 

3. All tuition fees are non-refundable
 

 Tuition remains the same regardless of number of weeks per month.
 There are NO refunds or deductions for missed classes

  IF the student is unable to dance due to a physical injury but is able sit, it is recommended  that they come to class and sit and watch.

RECITAL FEES
1. Performance fees per dancer shall be emailed to you by December and payment is expected by Jan 31st

2. A costume deposit is required of each student for each routine to be performed in the recital payable on or before November 5th. The balance of the costume will be due by December 5th.


• Costume rental fee = $40
• Jewelry Rental fee = $20

 

3. If you are interested in buying a costume and/or jewelry, please email the Director at nn.attleboro@gmail.com. Parents are responsible for all costume balances once the costumes are ordered in November.

WITHDRAW AND REFUND POLICIES

1. Tuition will not be charged from the month following the receipt of a written/email notification.  â€‹

2. No refunds of tuition/fees will be given for unused partial months. No exceptions.

​

3. Exceptions for Tuition non payment

  • A medical issue that prevents your dancer from not being able to be physically present in the classroom for a period longer than a month

Media Policies

​​

  1. Unless explicitly informed the studio shall occasionally post pictures and/or videos of the dancers on their social media channels.​

STUDIO POLICIES

1. All students are expected to arrive on time to class.


2. All students should be picked up on time after class.
 If a student’s ride is going to be late for the day, please be sure to email nna.attleboro@gmail.com or call us at 781-492-5526 to let us know.

 

3. All students are expected to attend class each week. (If you miss 3 classes within 2 months, you will be required to take a private make-up lesson, and if this is not done, you may not be able to perform in the recital.)
 

4. All students are to be dressed appropriately for class. See Dress Code information.
 

5. Only water allowed in all studios. All food and bags must be left at the cubby OUTSIDE the dancing area of the studio.
 

6. No cell phones allowed in studios.
 

7. Please inform the teacher if a child must be picked up early. This must be arranged prior to the class beginning. Please send your child with a note.
 

8. Siblings and families wishing to wait in the waiting area must remain silent. Please refrain from bringing food. Your help in keeping our studios clean is appreciated. Please do not enter the studios during class.
 

9. All students are expected to always respect their teachers and other dancers. Noopur Nritya Academy reserves the right to suspend or expel a dancer for rude or inappropriate behavior towards any staff or other students.
 

10. All students are expected to try their best and work as hard as they can while in the studio. Personal integrity and hard work are what makes dance fun and challenging for everyone.

Commitment
Your commitment at time of registration is for September through our June recital. We make a commitment to our teachers based on enrollment. Your child is expected to attend all classes, and we do not credit or refund tuition for any classes after the 2nd class.

Attendance
Attendance is crucial to the learning process. If a student is going to be absent, please email nna.attleboro@gmail.com so the instructor is informed ahead of time.

If a student misses a class and feels he/she would like to spend extra time with the instructors, that can be arranged directly through our Director Miss Vyju. Please email her with times that your child is available. The fee for this additional instruction will be added to your account, and your statement will be emailed to you.

Inclement weather and cancellations


If the North Attleboro Public Schools are cancelled because of snow, our classes are automatically cancelled. If it starts to snow after school begins, you can also call Noopur Nritya Dance Academy at 781-492-5526, one hour prior to your class. These classes will NOT be re-scheduled

If the studio cancels class that is not related to inclement weather, the instructor will reach out to you with a date and day for the make-up session

Costume and Jewelry Policy
Participation in our Year-End Recital in June is a mandatory part of our performing arts curriculum for all recreational and intensive dancers. If your child is not able to participate in recital, you must provide The Director with written/emailed notification by November 15th so a costume is NOT charged for your child.

Costumes are not made to fit each individual dancer. Sizes are determined by the average age groups and height. All alterations and costume adjustments are the responsibility of each family.
Jewelry can be rented or bought through the dance school. They are a one size fits all. The school requires specific style of jewelry.
All costume and jewelry balances a must be paid before May 1st in order to participate in the annual recital. Costumes will be handed out only to families that are paid in full.

 

All costumes rented must be dry-cleaned before returning to the studio. If a costume is lost or damaged you will be charged for the costume in addition to the rental fee.

Dress Code


Our dress code is enforced at NNA so that each dancer can move in the appropriate manner for this dance genre, and to eliminate potential hazards for our dancers and instructors.

No Shoes required for dancing.

Comfortable pants, can be leggings and comfortable t-shirts. If your dancer has a comfortable cotton chudidar they are welcome to wear it.

If a dancer is to receive their bells, they should be bringing it to class each week. Not all dancers are given the bells, this is decided by the instructor.

FOR SAFETY REASONS, STREET SHOES/BOOTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN ANY STUDIO AT ANY TIME.

All Dancers must have their HAIR pulled away from their face and neck at all times.

No dresses, jeans or jeggings are allowed.

If a student comes to class with improper attire, a teacher reserves the right to decide if the child may participate.
